British Military 40mm 101 Royal Engineer Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit Watch

British Military
101 Royal Engineer
Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit

This watch was specially made for the British Military Royal Engineer Regiment Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit, featuring innovative safety features. This unique characteristic, which adds an anti-magnetic component to the watch, alongside a quartz movement that has been meticulously designed to ensure that it does not emit any signals or pulses that could initiate an explosion.

The black non-reflective dial of this watch displays Arabic figures and a date window, clearly marked with "Royal Engineer Regiment" and "ANTI-MAGNETIC" in red under the center post. The dial also features a subdued Black Cat motif just below the center post, which relates to the historical Lord Mayor of London.

The watch boasts a hack-set Cal. 2115 Movement with a tuning fork-type Quartz Crystal, a two-pole stepping motor, and a screw-down waterproof back with a BOMB Badge designed by Queen Mary during the London Blitz. The case measures 40mm and is made of brushed finish stainless steel with a hard rock non-glare dome crystal. The back is marked with "101 ROYAL ENGINEER REGIMENT EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL" and the BOMB BADGE that was designed by Queen Mary.
