Marbles Classic Brass Body Pocket Compass

Marble Classic Outdoor Compass

Outdoor Camping Hiking Survival Gear

Since 1892, Marble Classic Outdoor Compasses have guided adventurers through history - from Theodore Roosevelt exploring the Brazilian wilderness to Charles Lindbergh's first transatlantic flight.

Webster L. Marble arrived in Michigan in 1887 and soon founded the Marbles Company. Driven by his passion for outdoor adventures such as fishing, camping, and hunting, the company quickly established a reputation for producing a wide variety of useful tools and equipment, including the renowned Outdoor Marble traditional brass body compasses. Since its inception, the company's dedication to precision and quality has attracted the attention of notable figures in history. In 1913, Theodore Roosevelt relied on Marble's compasses during his Expandicao Scientifica exploration of the Brazilian wilderness, while U.S. Army trucks were equipped with Marble's compasses during World War I. In 1927, Charles Lindbergh trusted Marble's knife, compass, and matchbox on his historic first solo transatlantic flight.

Despite its historical origins, Marble's Outdoor Compasses remain useful and reliable tools for adventurers and outdoors enthusiasts to this day.
